See how founders, staff engineers, indie hackers, and OSS maintainers ship real products with Command Code, and why they keep recommending it.

Command Code learns my taste. After a week, it stopped making the mistakes I kept fixing in other agents. The diffs feel like a senior engineer who already read the codebase.

Command Code is the first agent where I trust open models in production. The harness is so solid I had to double check I was still on DeepSeek Flash. Shipped multiple CLIs and a full Redwood app for $2.

After a week, I stopped fixing AI code manually. Command learned my conventions. Taste is what separates a junior from a senior developer.

I never explain my preferences twice. Push once, use everywhere. A force multiplier on team projects.
I'm a heavy $200/month Claude Code user and I can say that Command Code's handle on DeepSeek is really good. Every Claude user should try it out.
Working on it, this might be the best $1 I spend on a coding plan, bang for the buck literally.
fixed my website UI + logic bugs with AI for literally less than a dime 💀 84 runs. $0.10. done. harness is wild 🔥

Command code is extremely token efficient. Really, well done, this is amazing.
just built an entire android app for 16 cents using deepseek v4. aint never payin 200$ subs.
$0.90, 5 hours, 450M tokens, and the harness fixed my entire codebase in 3 hours. Something that not even Opus 4.7 managed to do in days. Insane. (deepseek v4 pro + Command Code)

subscribed, 1M tokens just $0.07 👍🏻
$1 for $40 of DeepSeek? Just might be too good to pass up.
Ngl this is peak marketing, I checked them out and their harness is actually good. I mainly check them out for their $1 / $40 deal.
$1 subscription — truly a great benefactor! DeepSeek V4 Pro, 1500 times. How is it so much cheaper than in China!
1$ for 40$ DeepSeek v4 Pro 😮😮
been using the $1 sub and it's been working like a charm on kimi 2.6. probably burning more tokens than usual but definitely worth the dollar so far.
Ahmad convinced me to give this a try and it's great to see positive feedback as well. Going to hit the button this week.
CommandCode launches $1 package which includes $40 DeepSeek v4 Pro 😮
I can't wait to try CommandCode — created by the king of the custom CLIs.
Read this several times — such a deep insight, ty! 🙏 Immediately got GLM5.1 and DeepSeek V4 Pro to collab and produce two corresponding skills. Now they're grinding to level up the output, lol.
what is this sorcery!! how are you planning to survive?

Congratulations 🎉. I've just switched from Opencode to Command Code and everything seems good now.
The $1 deal is a middle finger up to all these crazy subs — I love it.

commandcode is absolutely cracked! I tried the $1 plan and I genuinely used a decent amount with deepseek v4 pro. command code used more credits with less tokens compared to the deepseek api with claude code harness — must be the harness doing the heavy lifting.
The Go plan is too good to ignore.
this is insanely good. So much have been done, so much to still be done by me. Might have to buy extra tokens and that's also a massive bargain.
2026 is wild. 🤯 On a WestJet flight in 🇨🇦, on Starlink WiFi, with my bffs Claude & Command Code; building a receipt printer app for the kids + a home finance dashboard. Mid-air full-stack dev.
Used it a ton yesterday, DeepSeek with Command Code is an awesome daily driver. I really liked that it was willing to run for a while. Often the cheaper models tend to find an exit ramp and end the run early.

Currently developing fhast, a download manager for Linux & Windows. Inspired by IDM, which I've used since high school. Built mainly to test Deepseek V4 Pro on CMD. Mostly coded using Command Code ❤️
I liked Command Code, today I upgraded to pro — congrats! Plus I'm recommending it to my dev friends here in Brazil, insane cost-benefit.
Just tried out open source models with @CommandCodeAI and it was awesome! The $1 go plan is a steal, and the taste feature is really cool. Highly recommend giving it a shot!
I'm truly impressed by both usage and results. Finished my project yesterday — a full English-teaching backend and frontend pretty much like Preply, but with better integrations. Way better than Claude Code or opencode. Plus token usage was like $2.70.
When AI is getting expensive we have Command Code. Greatly optimised and needed.
Awais is an amazing developer. I have opted in yesterday. GLWS Awais.
Everyone give a try to Command Code — it's an amazing tool by my brother Ahmad Awais. I'm a huge fan of open source.
My experimentation so far was good. CommandCode is on another level than Claude Code in terms of harness.
Would just like to end the day by thanking u guys working at CommandCode. I seriously can't believe I am almost done with a fully running Android app + design that I'm proud of after 3 days of slaughtering DeepSeek V4 for only 40 cents I paid from my pocket. I hope we keep getting the same level of crazy value from u guys moving on.
Love how taste-1 is learning my own. Been using AmpCode, Codebuff, pi.dev (omp), opencode (omo, omo-slim), Letta, Claude Code — looks like Command Code is the only "just works" memory and learnings, while the others require extensive setup and configurations which sometimes failed. Mostly doing Android Studio and fullstack/mobile development.
Claude recently announced significant changes to their pricing plans, so I went on a mission to find alternatives with price protection — and the only thing that provides that balance is open source. I built an imitation of Flappy Bird with Command Code. Command built the game in fewer iterations and understood my intent much better, whereas Claude required extra nudges. Round 1 goes to Command Code. Kudos to Ahmad Awais for creating a worthy open source competitor.
Currently I am using opencode deepseek v4 and performance there is not so good, so how are you outperforming deepseek?
$1!! crazy value. Well done, the CLI is very good too.
I tested it, and it works really well. For some reason, V4 Pro inside Command Code performs better than inside Opencode. It didn't go off the rails as often, even with a big context window, plus it works faster.
Bought the first-ever AI tool subscription. Let's see how far the relation goes with premium AI subscriptions… Took CommandCode subscription btw.
Same with me — the experience using Command Code is better than opencode + deepseek. I hope the one dollar subscription will not bankrupt you, Ahmad Awais.
Command Code's $1 package requests a showdown.
Not bad, $1. Then I immediately go and do a
pi install pi-commandcode-providerand use it inside Pi — feels great. $1 = 10 bucks (DeepSeek-V4-Pro can use 40 bucks).
Everyone used to say OpenCode's Go package was a great deal, but lately Command Code's $1 Go Plan is the real steal. At its core is their proprietary taste-1 model, which learns your coding style — every accept, reject, or edit becomes a training signal. $10 in model credits, exclusive access to top open-source models at full precision, and on DeepSeek you get about $40 worth of usage. For $1, you can't go wrong.
One week with Command Code and I'm genuinely impressed. The agent asks questions other coding assistants don't, showing real systems thinking and reasoning. Every interaction sparks new ideas. Keep surprising me and fueling my curiosity.
